Indian Languages
The languages of India belong to several language families, the major ones being the Indo-European languages—Indo-Aryan (spoken by 72% of Indians) and the Dravidian languages (spoken by 25% of Indians). Other languages spoken in India belong to the Austro-Asiatic, Tibeto-Burman, and a few minor language families and isolates. The official languages of India are Hindi and English. However, each state has its own official language.
International Lingua Institute understands the importance of high quality and accurate translations for all languages. It is important to find the right translator for a particular document. For eg, when the task is a legal document, the person translating should have a strong legal background. The translators need to know more than just the language; they need to be able to understand the concepts of what they are translating. Translation is more than just changing words from one language to another, the entire text needs to be rewritten in a manner that makes sense and is informative in the new language.
